- Coober Pedy Opal.com will replace or refund cost of any opal that is not to the customers liking.
- We do make a 20% charge to cover our banking fees and currency exchange
costs on refunds.
- We also retain the right to increase this charge should it not cover our out of pocket expenses.
- Postal charges on all returns are the responsibility of the customer,
should an exchange of goods be offered then Coober Pedy Opal.com will
pay the postage on the replacement goods.

As we have to pay Goods and Services Tax on returned items over au$1000.00 the tax paid will be held until we have been re-imbursed by the Australian Tax Office.
- We need to be informed within fourteen (14) days of invoice date,of your intention to return your purchase and to receive that return within thirty (30) days of invoice date.
- Rough opal will not be accepted if it has been processed in any way.
- Due to the time differential it has been known for a grade or parcel to be sold twice. When this happens the second customer will be offered an alternative grade of similar opal, it will be of greater value than the original as compensation for the inconvenience.
Payments:
- We use a state of the art Secure Server at www.directone.com.au one of Australia's leading Web Secure Services. The Secure Server encrypts sensitive information to the highest level.
- Although all our prices are in us$ your Credit Card will be charged in au$ using the current exchange rate.
- If you have any doubts then we offer the following options.

three or four e-mails.

- For first time orders over us$1000 we ask that payment be made by Direct Money Transfer (TT).
- Payment by Personal Check, International Money Orders, Postal Notes and Bank Checks. Opal will be posted on clearance of check. Overseas checks can take up to six weeks to clear.
Freight:
- Orders us$300.00 or less will be charged us$18.00 postage.
- Orders over us$1000.00 will require customs clearance and will be sent by EMS.
- All EMS charges to be paid by customer, we will inform you of these by e-mail before proceeding.
Privacy Policy:
- We will not sell, disclose, or in any way pass on your personal details to
a third party.
GST:
- GST is to be collected from all Australian customers at a rate of 10%. This does not apply to international customers.
